I wrote a limerick about Salman Rushdie a few years back, if you're into that sort of thing. And quite a few more years ago, I wrote crazy letters to everyone I knew on pieces of construction paper using my parents' Royal typewriter.

I come from a family of game-players, so I'm up to snuff on everything from bridge to Magic: The Gathering.

• I've tricked StarCityGames.com into publishing some of my Magic-related scrawlings. Here's one article, here's another, and here's a third.
• I've written a pretty simplistic introduction to pinochle. It's so confusing that you'll probably need someone who knows how to play sitting next to you to teach you, in which case they can just tell you the rules and you probably don't even need this. But hey, thanks for visiting!
• I've also written a page that generates random bridge hands. That's all it does. I have some improvements in mind, but since I've lost interest they'll never happen. But since I've experienced occasional seconds of amusement by viewing this page as-is a few times, I figured you might want to give it a try too.

You can't advertise those because you never know when some jerk from an Internet backwater will put your head on Shakira's body and try to discredit you by showing it to everyone. "Bleah, Matt Drake looks like Shakira! Bleah!" If I had a nickel for every time that's happened...
